Mississippi HIMSS Program Sponsorship
The Mississippi Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (MS HIMSS), provides Mississippi's healthcare professionals with outstanding educational conferences, networking opportunities, and a forum for the interchange of ideas among those committed to the goal of improving patient care through the effective use of information technology. Membership is not required to attend educational conferences, and national membership is not required to join the Mississippi chapter. MS HIMSS members come from diverse backgrounds all involved in some aspect of health care information systems and management. Members include physicians, nurses and other clinicians, information services executives, project managers, administrators, and consultants. Many are the key leaders and decision-makers in their respective institutions throughout the Mississippi region.
• MS HIMSS will hold educational events at least twice a year, oriented to information systems use in healthcare and designed to attract healthcare professionals including CIOs, administrators, physicians, directors, managers, nurses and analysts.
MS HIMSS is looking for sponsors from the vendor and consulting community to defer the cost of the chapter’s programs. All sponsors will receive:
• Their logo on the MS HIMSS web site and link to their company’s site
• Sponsor name on the agenda and program brochure
Annual Sponsorship
Sponsorship levels and options are summarized below:
Diamond: $5000
Sponsorship for a one year period
Unlimited attendance at all chapter events during that year
Participation in Vendor Fairs conducted during that year
Table space to distribute sponsor company information
Emerald: $2500
Sponsorship for one year period
2 free registrations for each event conducted during the year

Event Sponsorship

Platinum: $1500
Sponsorship for one event
Unlimited attendance at event
Participation in Vendor Fair if included in event

Gold: $1250
Sponsorship for one event
2 free registrations for each event conducted during the year

Silver: $500
Sponsorship for event
1 free registration for event

Bronze: $250 or sponsor expense for a break during the session

We are also in the process of planning speakers for future programs and would consider your customers/clients that are demonstrating innovative practices in the area of health information technology. Vendor submission for customer/client speaker or presenters must be exclusively educational and not commercial in nature.
